Storytelling has been part of my life since early childhood

I can remember the first story I ever wrote, Myrtle the Candy Giving Witch. It was a tale of witch who loved making candy, and she saw how happy it made children of her village. She wanted to make candy for them all the time, but the parents forbid the children from taking the candy because she was, well, a witch. Eventually the parents came around and Myrtle was accepted in the town. This story won me my first writing award in the 2nd Grade. I'll never forget it.

This lead to many more stories. Some with a higher meaning, and some were simply for writing assignments in school. But the highlight was joining the newspaper in high school. I wanted to write for the sports section, but they didn't have an opening. The only position available was in features, so I took it. I was made Features Editor less than two months later.

Telling stories is what I know. It's who I am. And I'm fortunate to have told stories for many amazing companies.
